About The Book
Book Promotion “My Journey To Respect” by Marina Šprajc at the Arte Hall
Marina Šprajc’s book “My Journey To Respect” was celebrated at a well-attended promotion in Arte Hall, Makarska City Library, following its initial presentation in Zagreb. The illustrated book, aimed at both children and adults, encourages reflection on emotions, empathy, and mutual understanding. Šprajc thanked her supporters and expressed how meaningful it was to present the book to a familiar audience.
Discovering a new calling
“It’s never too late to change”
After a quarter-century in kindergarten, Marina Šprajc discovered a completely new calling in her fifties: “It’s never too late for change.” She realized that the signs of transformation had always been written in her body—she just needed to learn how to read them. Her journey, marked by personal growth and self-discovery, now inspires others to embrace change at any stage of life.
Book Presentation “My Journey To Respect” by Marina Šprajc at the House of Klajn
Last Thursday afternoon, we met ourselves and each other in a softer, more attentive way. Marina Šprajc, with the support of Damjan Beusan and Jerko Marčić, introduced her interactive book My Journey to Respect and shared practical tools for strengthening relationships and deepening awareness in working with ourselves, children, and adults.
A heartfelt thank you to Snježana and Mirjana from the Cultural Center and City Library for their warm hospitality, and to all the women from educational and academic institutions who joined us. Gratitude to Casa Maya and to everyone who gifted time, space, and presence – some even shared books.
We look forward to continuing Marina’s work through future workshops for children and adults in Klanjec and the surrounding area – there is a real need and desire for it.

From our Clients
Dear Casa Maya team,
This experience stays in my heart and memory as the most natural flowing, organically moving and truest playfield I have ever encountered. It fills me up just thinking of the times. Thousand thank yous. Till next time!
Kika
My dears,
I would like to thank you once again for your open heart and open mind. When I just think of Casa Maya, my heart feels warm and my mouth smiles. On the first day of the retreat, gratitude and joy found me and it is still with me. That deep gratitude and joy that you feel at the cellular level.
Gratitude moves me to tears, and joy moves my body, so I would wag my tail like a dog. Oh my, and the dogs... Maya and Darko, two angels. How beautifully they fit in . There is something magical, primal in that house, but I don't think it was there, but rather your sincere intention, your energy, your spirit brought it there.
Marija
When I set my first step in Casa Maya, the fire was in the process of becoming alive in the stove and an inviting aroma wafted from the oven. My soul felt like coming back home to welcoming grandparents', from far away in space and time.
That is the nest where personal and group processes could find their way out of any shyness, fear, and reluctance, and to flow one into the other, and together, back into the world outside. Thank you for having me there. Hugs & hugs!
